May 20, 2019 Grace + Ben | Capitol Hill Engagement Photos | Washington, DC
Grace and Ben are my kind of people. They have a grey kitty and love her to bits (hi Jenny!), they’re funny, they’re down to earth, and they know how to have a good time. They also have the most hilarious engagement story (hilarious only really because Grace didn’t die…) but I’ll save that for the wedding blog. For their engagement session we chose the laid back route of hitting a few neighborhood bars – including the one where they met and the one where they’ll be celebrating their reception in a few short weeks! Also, I’d like to take a moment and admire how absolutely genius it is to rent out a bar for the evening instead of dealing with a traditional wedding venue. (Tommy and I also went back later that night and ate dinner there – 10/10 for good taste.) After wandering their neighborhood we wrapped up with some photos at home with Jenny – who was equally excited to hang out with new friends and skeptical of the big black box in my hands.
