We had high expectations for Gabby and Will’s wedding this past weekend at Corpus Christi Church in Baltimore with a reception at the American Visionary Art Museum… and it did not disappoint!
The Couple
From Gabby: “We met through friends in grad school. We bonded over our mutual love of food, baseball, and The Big Lebowski. We dated for four years, having some amazing adventures along the way like hiking the Inca Trail, before Will proposed with a sweet and thoughtful scavenger hunt.”
The Wedding
Not long into photographing getting ready for Gabby and Will, I get a text message from Tommy “Will is so freaking nice.” Sarah, one of my former brides, pulls me aside at a point early in the day for a hug, and immediately says how excited she is that I’m there because Gabby is the “kindest, most pure of heart” person she knows. After working with these two for their engagement session last fall, we’ve been looking forward to this day… we knew it was going to be a good one. One of those work days that doesn’t feel an ounce like work. It feels like love, human connection, and it feeds your soul. Will and Gabby are wonderful humans, and their warmth is a wonderful thing to witness and experience. I couldn’t imagine a better day for two incredible human beings. Another favorite is the silhouette of Gabby with the city out the window. I love that they got ice cream from the ice cream truck while doing portraits! Their couple portraits are all so beautiful! Such a fun and beautiful wedding, captured perfectly!
