Vicki + Joe | Silver Swan Bayside Wedding | Stevensville, MD

October 8, 2018 Vicki + Joe | Silver Swan Bayside Wedding | Stevensville, MD

Vicki and Joe’s wedding last weekend at Silver Swan Bayside was SO much fun! I’m super excited to share some favorites on the blog today.

The Couple

From the bride: “We met through a mutual friend at work. Joseph walked into the room and asked me a question and I thought ‘Oh he’s cute.’ So I texted my friend to have her find out if he was single and she wind up setting up a double date. We went to the Os game and Hooters!

He surprised me by stopping at a state park in CT on our drive to Cape Cod. He got down on one knee on a huge cliff and asked me to marry him! We were both filled with so much adrenaline we couldn’t even remember what happened, thankfully a bystander taped a few clips of it. The best part was you can see me in the background putting the ring on my own finger.”

Ha! I love that Vicki put the ring on her own finger.

The Wedding

Vicki and Joe are awesome. They’re wonderful, sweet people and they know how to have a good time. From the very first moments of stepping into the room where Vicki and her girls were getting ready, there was side splitting laughter, all the way to the end of the day. I love that while we were taking bridesmaids photos, and one of the girls noticed Vicki’s dad walking up (he hadn’t seen her yet) they all formed a human shield around her to not ruin the surprise. Their ceremony was so sweet and afterwards we were rewarded with an AMAZING sunset. Toasts from parents, maids of honor and the best man were all hysterical. All in all, it was an unforgettable day for two wonderful people.
