Chad + Alice | Linganore Winecellars Wedding

August 28, 2013 Chad + Alice | Linganore Winecellars Wedding

Chad and Alice a.k.a. Chalice are an incredibly fun couple. Their wedding day was the perfect reflection of that. A beautiful setting, a beautiful couple, a beautiful day. As I was leaving I overheard a group of people outside – one said, “This wedding rocked” and another replied “Yeah, definitely one of the best ever.”

It was a good day.

Big thanks to Jen for being my second shooter for the day. As always she was an amazing assistant and helped me provide beautiful images to the bride and groom!

I arrived early (thankfully, considering my GPS managed to get me lost for over a half an hour) and got to explore the grounds and take some scenics. It’s such a beautiful, serene location!

This is the view from the ceremony site. Stunning.

Alice’s dress was totally stunning and I loved that she trusted me to hang it up a few places outside for photos of it!

The bride and bridesmaid bouquets were made of wildflowers! I was stunned. Absolutely gorgeous.

I love this shot that Jen got of Alice and her dad before they walked down the aisle.

Look at how happy he is to see his stunning bride!

This is how excited their friends were about them being married.

I normally don’t include family photos on the blog, but these were just TOO GORGEOUS. Seriously. I love love love this location.

I do this shot at every wedding, and I love it when I have a bridal party who really gets into it. These guys rock!

We were running a little low on time so Jen and I split up the bridal party– she got photos of the guys while I got photos of the girls.

Such beautiful ladies! Alice has some amazing friends! The bridesmaid on the far right in this photo had a baby SIX DAYS before their wedding and still stood up for her. When I told her I was truly amazed by her she says “I wouldn’t miss it for the world, it’s my Alice!” and I got a little teary <3

The guys were a fun group… as you can see.

The beautiful bride…… and her handsome groom!

Earlier in the day while I was with Alice getting ready, Jen went ahead to the reception and snagged all of these detail shots. I LOVE the set up! Alice, you did an amazing job!

Our couple entered the reception to a very enthusiastic group of friends and family! To say these two are very loved is quite the understatement.

They danced a very sweet first dance to “I won’t give up” by Jason Mraz and I have to admit I cried. When I saw Chad’s mom crying too I lost it even harder. These two are so sweet, and their song choice was too perfect.

During dinner I noticed that there was an amazing sunset and grabbed Alice and Chad to head out for a few more photos. I’m so glad we went out, these are some of my all-time favorites!

FAVE.

Then it was PARTYTIME!!!

Alice and Chad, you guys are THE BEST and I am so happy for you! Your wedding day was absolutely perfect and was an amazing way to kick off a beautiful new life together.
