Josh + Casey | Mountain Branch Golf Club Wedding

June 28, 2013 Josh + Casey | Mountain Branch Golf Club Wedding

Casey and Josh are high school sweethearts. She was the cheerleader, he was the football player. Their relationship started with a text message. “Hi, this is Josh Zynel, just thought you’d want my number.” Not kidding. Single guys, apparently this actually works and is how you can get the cheerleader–Thanks to Carly, Casey’s sister and Maid of Honor for that awesome story. Eight years later they had a beautiful wedding surrounded by love from their friends and family to start off their happily ever after.

Thanks to Danielle Cover for helping me out for their wedding! I started the morning off with the girls, while Danielle was with the guys.

I just love Casey’s dress. Classic and stunning.

The sixpence that she wore in her shoe was the same one her mother wore when she married her father, as was the garter!

The ceremony was held at St. Frances de Sales Church.

Their reception was at the always lovely Mountain Branch Golf Club. This is where two of my best friends Josh and Jamie got married so it will always hold a special place in my heart!

Oh girl, stop it. Casey has the model face down.

Such a stunning bride!

…and a handsome groom!

Their cake was so awesome. Between Danielle and I, it was probably *over* photographed. But that’s okay ;) I love little Ray Rice coming out the bottom of the cake.

Speaking of the cake being over photographed, yes, I even staged a ring shot with it. Speaking of over photographing things in general? Yep, their rings were also subjects of that.

LOVE the engraving!

The speeches before dinner were downright hysterical! This is also where we learned of the famous text that started their relationship… and her dad made a joke that they were expecting…

…everyone to have a great time! Casey’s expression before he finished that sentence was of true horror! Haha.

Here Carly is saying “and apparently, it works!” referring to Josh’s text.

Gotta love a good photobooth! I just love that her dad even played along!

After all the formal dances the dance floor opened up and it was quite the party!!

Yep, even the servers were dancing! This was to LMFAO’s Sexy and I know it.

I love that the bridesmaids thought ahead to give them napkin bibs before the cake cutting knowing that it would get a little messy. Hilarious, and yet SO SMART.

Before we left, I took Josh and Casey out for a couple last night-time images. I just love how these turned out.

Oh hey Super moon!

Casey + Josh, thanks so much for choosing me to photograph your wedding day. You are such a fun couple and it’s been awesome getting to know you! I hope Punta Cana is amazing!

You rocked this wedding!! I love so many things! First off, the last time I was there that little island they insisted on taking us to was covered in geese poop. COVERED. And it just took up time going down there, the couple didn’t even know about it, but the coordinator insisted that is what they do here…whatever…back to the lack of geese poop! It is so much prettier than when I was there or you photo shop wood clean really really well. I love all of the details – the pops of teal are so gorgeous! Your group shots are super great! And it looks like such a fun day!!

I love all the father & the bride pictures! From him walking her down the isle, the father daughter dance & in the photo booth! You can see/feel the special relationship they have! I also love the picture of Josh (and the grooms men) as he’s watching Casey come down the isle, perfect! The bridal party pictures are all fun and beautiful. That last shot in the gazebo with the moon is fantastic! So many wonderful images that capture the story of their special day!
