April 1, 2013 Jamie + Tommy | Baltimore City Engagement Session
Walking around the city with Tommy and Jamie last Tuesday for their engagement session was an eye-opening experience for me. Our little city of Baltimore can really be beautiful. I often just think of Baltimore as the small portion that I’m exposed to the most, which is undeniably sketchy. But there is amazing beauty and serenity that can be found in this spectacular, well-rounded metropolis of ours.
These two were the perfect couple to explore the city with. We ended up spending about two hours together and we had so much fun, time just flew by.
We began their session at the Inner Harbor by the aquarium.
We wandered a bit around the harbor. I saw some flowers and figured we should take advantage of the color! Fun fact: It snowed about 4-5 inches the day before this.
I love Jamie’s engagement ring, it’s so unique and beautiful! Nice job, Tommy!
I love their initial tattoos.
We hopped in the car after a bit and headed to Fells Point. It was so quiet and beautiful over there. I love it. Jamie changed into a long flowing dress and sandals. When she came out of the truck I said she looked like a greek goddess. Tommy changed into a button-down shirt. He transformed into an architect. “All I need is a protractor and a pencil.”
All joking aside: these two are absolutely gorgeous.

It was starting to get dark and the rain clouds were rolling in so we headed to our last stop of the day: Federal Hill. I busted out my new best friend (my off camera flash setup) and got some of my all time favorite photos of this lovely couple with the Baltimore skyline.
I’m having a hard time picking a favorite from this session but I think this might be it:
Just as we got down the hill to the American Visionary Art Museum to get this shot with the love sign, it started to rain. Perfect timing I’d say.
