Josh and Chelsea’s Fall Farm Wedding | Harford County, Maryland

October 26, 2012 Josh and Chelsea’s Fall Farm Wedding | Harford County, Maryland

Josh and Chelsea’s wedding day was nothing short of perfect. They spent the day in the company of their closest friends and family, had a beautiful ceremony at their church, an awesome party at Josh’s family’s farm, and there were surprises throughout! I am so excited to share with you what Jen and I cooked up! Again, many thanks to Jennifer Smutek for assisting me!

When I teased this post last week I mentioned that there would be a ton of detail shots. Get ready! Here they come. :) Beware: This is my post picture-heavy post to date!

I started the day off with Chelsea and her girls at her mother’s farm. This is the same place they did their engagement session. First, I confiscated her wedding dress and accessories for some detail shots out in the barn!

Isn’t her ring just fabulous? Josh did an amazing job!

Then it was back inside for “getting ready” time.

Gorgeous.

I love this! The girls were lacing each other up! I ended up hopping in and helping out too.

Chelsea had this next shot as a must have– she wanted to be able to frame it and give it to Ava on her wedding day.

She wrote Josh a note which was handed to him by the Pastor just prior to the ceremony.

Cheers!

We took a couple of quick photos outside before the girls piled onto the limo bus to head to the ceremony.

I can definitely see where Chelsea got her good looks! Her momma is gorgeous! On the right she’s with her nephew/ring bearer Bryson who you may recognize.

While I was with the girls at Chelsea’s family’s farm, Josh was getting ready with his guys at his family’s farm and Jen was there to capture it!

Then it was off to Mountain Christian Church for their ceremony.

After the ceremony I hung back at the church to get some family photos while Jen went ahead and photographed the reception set up. I love all of the fall colors!

When we got back it was time for some bridal party photos and then we got some time with just the bride and groom.

The next couple of images show my angle and Jen’s angle. One of many reasons to have a second shooter at your wedding, is so that you can get these extra angles not only during the special moments throughout the day but also during your portraits! You get even more variety and even more interesting angles!

Then it was time for surprise number 1! It was a bit difficult to get them onto the lawn without giving anything away, but we succeeded!

Introduction time! When they entered the reception there were high fives and hugs everywhere.

After their first dance there were two very different but equally great speeches. First, Jessica, Chelsea’s sister and Maid of Honor gave a very sweet speech that had me choking back tears.

And then Josh’s brother had us all laughing so hard we were in tears.

After dinner it was time for all of the traditions! First the formal dances…

And then the garter and bouquet toss!

These next two CRACK ME UP! I LOVE the hilarious reaction shot that follows this one. Best. Reaction. Ever.

These two had an incredible party in their honor!

Even Josh’s grandmother got involved in the partying!

The night concluded with yet another surprise for the bride and groom. Hope lanterns and fireworks!

Congratulations you two! You had such an incredible day and I wish you both nothing but happiness for the years to come!
