Back in August I got an email from TheKnot magazine saying that they stumbled across Amy and Rafi’s wedding and wanted to feature it! I hadn’t even tried submitting anything to their print magazine yet at that point because I figured the chances of getting picked were so low, and got picked anyway! One of the editors from TK magazine went to school with my bride, and when she saw her wedding photos, she knew it needed to be a part of the next issue. Her boss agreed, and that’s how it got started! Imagine my shock! Such an awesome surprise :)

Amy and Rafi’s Elkridge Furnace Inn wedding is featured in the Spring/Summer issue of The Knot Magazine for MD, DC, and VA – on newsstands now!

There are also a few other awesome features to share from the last month!

Love and Wander relaunched with their new brand and the first post was of my trip to the Galápagos Islands this past July. Truly a lifechanging experience, and a trip of a lifetime! Another fun feature from this January is one of my absolute favorite weddings from 2014! Sam and Tom’s Admiral Fell Inn wedding was gorgeous on an absolutely beautiful day with incredible details and colors. But my favorite part of all was just how they both radiated with joy – it was absolutely contagious! Happiest day ever!

And last but not least – my first time featured on this blog – Sandy and Heather’s proposal and engagement (two separate sessions!) were featured on A Bicycle Built for Two – a new wedding blog that focuses on wedding inspiration for lesbian couples! I’m so glad they chose to feature this beautiful session! I loved reliving my time with Sandy and Heather and I couldn’t be more pumped for their wedding this September!

It’s been an awesome month of features! I can’t wait to see what the rest of 2015 brings!
