November 24, 2014 Weekend Recap!

This last weekend I had my second to last wedding of the year! The cool thing about this wedding being on Friday so I was able to pull off an amazing surprise with my mom this weekend! My grandfather turned 80 on Wednesday, so we flew out first thing Saturday morning to Vermont and showed up to his birthday party – a complete surprise to everyone involved! No one knew we were coming, and their reactions were priceless :) We just decided to do it spontaneously about a week ago and it was so nice having the time to make it work! It was such a wonderful trip and I’m so glad we were able to swing it. We flew back home the very next morning, so it was a very quick trip, but entirely worth it.

Backing up just a bit – Friday’s wedding was AMAZING! The 43rd of my 44 weddings for the year, and my last of the long streak of weddings starting in April, and going straight until now with only 5 weekends off, 7 double headers, and one triple header. It’s been a whirlwind of a year! I couldn’t be happier with how this year went – and Jameson and Matt’s wedding was no exception. The timing couldn’t have been better for the photos atop Federal Hill. We were able to get daytime, sunset and night shots for this wedding and I couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out. Jameson and Matt had such a fun and beautiful wedding day and I can’t wait to share more on the blog this Wednesday!
